Usually large planning applications when they go to appeal, they go to a public hearing. Yet Land at Pavenhill went to Written Representation where anyone who is interested is only able to send in their views, there being no public debate.
Interestingly, the Planning Inspectorate has now decided to call for a Public Hearing. This is tentatively timed for Tuesday 8 August.
