So, Purton has now elected to go on its own in order to get a plan in place without further delay, an essential defence when faced with inappropriate housing proposals.....

Here we go again. Hills Home Developments of Battlewell (“Let’s-see-how-many-houses-we-can-cram-onto-a-ridiculously-small-site”) infamy has put in for a 26-house development at Pavenhill. The plans are here; insert the reference number into the application number box: 16/03625/FUL. This site is outside the emerging Neighbourhood Plan but still needs carefully scrutiny. Watch this space….
